The story is as good as always, with Gerald the Giraffe struggling to dance but eventually finding his feet - a classic that is standing the test of time. In the twenty years since Giraffes Can't Dance bounded into the world, it has become a favourite with children all across the globe. This is the only episode to air on Halloween instead of summer but they did not celebrate Halloween. The illustrations are vibrant and have lots of things to point out while reading with a young one, and it’s the perfect length for story time at any time of day.

Rebecca Rabbit thinks she is taller than Gerald because she measures her height to the top of her ears, but Gerald is still taller than Rebecca when he sticks his ears up too. The prize exhibits were swiftly accepted, but only after the preparation of the specimens was financed by Sir Channing Wills of the tobacco family and a benefactor of the RAMM. This is a lovely story that incorporates several dance forms including waltz, tango, Scottish reel amd rock n roll. I feel that the verse structure and readability of the story took priority, and I know that this is really all that matters to a young child, just perhaps don’t try read too much into it as a grown up. Gerald has a navy blue shirt, and black shoes, his tail is yellow with a brown end in three protrusions.Candy then says this thing, and Suzy does the said thing she mentioned earlier, to cut the tree down, only for everyone to decline again. At the time, RAMM’s senior collections officer Julien Parsons said: “I was worried when I first heard that Gerald had changed his name. Gerald is nearly as tall as Dr Hamster and he explains to his new friends that he is going to be even taller than Dr Hamster when he grows up.He is the illustrator of the international bestseller Giraffes Can't Dance , as well as Dinosaurumpus! Concidentally, when Madame Gazelle introduced Gerald, it was quite like the introductory of Emily Elephant, with their classmates discovering their long features during play. Number One bestseller Giraffes Can't Dance from author Giles Andreae has been delighting children for over 20 years.
